HAITISES NATIONAL PARK/LEVANTADO KEY  AIRPLANE

On this excursion  Coconutraveler.com ,wants to offer you a complete day full of incredible sites, in a place that was declared a  Natural  Reserve of the Biosphere by UNESCO in 1971, we are refering to the peninsula of  SAMANA, in the Dominican Republic.

We will leave early from your Hotels towards the Airport of  Punta Cana, in a comfortable  bus with airconditioning. Then in comfortable and modern airplanes we will head for the airport of Arroyo Barril in Samana, where you will be  taken to a private dock where drinks/tropical fruit  and a speedboat will be waiting to take you to Haitises National Park.

Haitises National Park, is filled with rock formations, labyrinths of small islands, mangroves and rivers, where on your boat ride you can see many exotic plants, birds and marine life. Inside the park there are several caves (San Gabriel, La Linea y Arena), once used by the Taino Indians to hide from invaders and where ancient pictographs  are still conserved

Afterwards we will go to the famous Levantado Key, also known as Bacardi Island, because of a famous ’90s add. A small piece of paradise, filled with natural and fascinating beauty. Here we will eat and enjoy it’s clear blue waters while we lay in the sun.

- Transportation to and from you hotel in  Punta Cana, Bavaro, and Uvero  in comfortable buses with airconditioning towards the  airport of  Punta Cana.

- Direct flight in modern aiplanes to Arroyo Barril Airport in Samana.

- Bus transfer to our private dock in Samana.

- Speedboat to Haitises National Park and Cayo Levantado (Bacardi Island) with drinks, refreshments and tropical fruit on board. Entrance to the park is included.

- Bus transfer to El Limon Fall , guided horseback ride to the fall.

-  Typical Dominican lunch (buffet) on Cayo Levantado with a national drink and time to enjoy the beach.

- Return by bus to Arroyo Barril Airport  where you will return to  Punta Cana.
