LEVANTADO KEY /HAITISES NATIONAL PARK

With this excursión Coconutraveler.com, wants to offer a complete day full of incredible sites in a place that is patrimony of the biosphere by “UNESCO” from 1971, we are talking about the peninsula of Samana in  the Dominican Republic, a place of fascinating beauty!!!

We will leave early from your hotels, in comfortable buses with air conditioning, refreshments and a guide, towards Samana via Savannah of the Sea, a trip wich will last aproximately 3 hours. There we will board speed boats to Haitises.

Haitises National Park, contains mangrove swamps that tourists can visit by boat and get a glimpse of hundreds of rare species of plants, birds and marine life. Inside the park there are small islands and caves with ancient pictographs left by the Tainos, the original inhabitants of the island.

Afterwards we will visit Cayo Levantado, a tiny piece of paradise  full of natural splendour and amazing beauty also known as the Bacardi Island. Here you will eat lunch and enjoy its beaches while snorkelling or just sunbathing at your leisure in this paradise of blue
