RINCON BEACH/DIVING SNORKELLING “LAS GALERAS” SAMANA
On this excursion: 2 DAYS / 1 NIGHT Coconutraveler.com ,wants to offer a complete package full of incredible views in the Northeast Region of the Peninsula of Samana, Las Galeras a Biosphere Reserve by Unesco since 1971, where without a doubt you can enjoy the best scuba diving and snorkeling points in all Samana and one of the finest in the Dominican Republic.
Its majestic coral wall in “Cabo Cabron” with a more than 55 meter drop full of marine life, can only be described with one word:
Plus two of the best beaches on the island, known as ” Rincon Beach” and “ Fronton Beach” , and many many other points and exclusive beaches you can enjoy!!!
Rincon Beach is only accessible by boat or special vehicles and it’s made up of almost four miles of untouched paradise in a place to leave you totally fascinated!. Fronton Beach is also only accessible by boat, smaller and ideal for couples wanting to live a magical and romantic day!
This excursion is ideal for those tourists who want to escape the crowded beaches of the Villages where they lodge. Combining the possibility to snorkel at Playa Rincon for those without certification and scuba diving for diving enthusiastics with PADI or CMAS. (Minimum Open Water for Tibisi I and II, and Advanced PADI for the famous 55m coral wall; “Pedra Bonita” “divers galleys.”
Spend a night in a cozy ecological hotel in the galleys, with its bamboo roof in Dominican style, includes a fan, mosquito net for the night, shower with hot / cold water surrounded by a beautiful garden with a pool and breakfast included.

DAY 1
- Early pickup in your hotel in comfortable buses fitted with a guide, from hotels in with destination “Las Galeras” in Samana and refreshments.
- Arrival at the hotel to leave our things, accommodate, give ourselves a refreshing swim and prepare for lunch.
- Briefing given by our diving instructor Serge Baudat. (with extensive experience in the diving sites in Las Galeras), diving and snorkelling sites will be decided by the weather and sea conditions expected for the next day.
- We will spend the rest of the day quietly knowing the people of the galleys, their environment and their wonderful beaches.
- By nightfall we’ll have dinner in a typical restaurant (menu and a drink included).
DAY 2:
-Pick up at hotel by the Dive Center at 8:30 am
-Departure 09:00 by boat to the diving and snorkelling point.
Includes: complete equipment for a doble immersion- scuba diving equipment: tanks, weights, mask, fins, wetsuit, jacket. Complete set of snorkel equipment for: Rincon Beach, Playita, Fronton Beach.
-Typical Dominican lunch and 1 drink at local restaurant in Rincon Beach.
- Return to hotels at 03:30 pm approx.
